I received his education at Afaq Basic School, then Nyala Secondary School, followed by Afaq Al-Mustaqbal Secondary School. And I continued his academic journey at Omdurman Islamic University, Faculty of Nursing,
from 2013 to 2016 during these years, I volunteered with several international organizations and United Nations-affiliated agencies, working in internally displaced persons (IDP) camps across different regions of Darfur. Through this work, he contributed to the implementation of educational, developmental, and humanitarian initiatives aimed at supporting displaced populations and strengthening the capacities of conflict-affected communities.
His field experience in humanitarian work, along with his direct involvement in serving refugees and asylum seekers, inspired him to co-found the organization “Peace for Sudan.” This came in response to the ongoing conflict in Sudan, which has led to widespread displacement, loss of life, social fragmentation, and the deterioration of livelihoods.
His work with Sudanese refugees and asylum seekers, particularly in the United Kingdom, further deepened his understanding of the challenges they face and strengthened his commitment to supporting them and standing alongside them.
What began as a response to urgent humanitarian needs has evolved into a long-term mission aimed at supporting Sudanese communities both inside and outside Sudan, enhancing resilience, empowering the most vulnerable groups, and contributing to sustainable, community-led solutions.
The vision of “Peace for Sudan” is to become a leading humanitarian organization that creates tangible and lasting impact, and contributes to building a future based on peace, dignity, justice, and stability for all Sudanese people.
