About us

About Peace For Sudan

Peace for Sudan was established by a dedicated group of Sudanese activists living in the UK who recognized the urgent need for a structured, culturally grounded response to the crisis.
Founded by Abdallah Issa (Sheffield), Ayoub Mohammed (Doncaster), and Hajar Musa (Manchester), the organization bridges the gap between the Sudanese diaspora and the urgent needs of those remaining in the conflict zones. Our founders believe that the best way to support the community is through a deep understanding of our shared culture, language, and challenges.
Responding to the Crisis in Sudan (Darfur).
Our work was born out of the severe humanitarian deterioration In Darfur, as well as countless displacement camps across Sudan, the absence of basic services has left children, widows, and families in a state of extreme vulnerability. Peace for Sudan was created to be their voice and their lifeline.

Our Mission

To provide comprehensive support and advocacy for refugees in the UK, ensuring they have the resources and community connections needed to rebuild their lives with dignity.

Our Vision

A world where survivors of conflict are empowered to transition from crisis to stability, becoming thriving, independent members of inclusive communities.

Our Core Values

Dignity & Respect
Non-Violence
Transparency
Inclusion

We believe every individual deserves to be treated with honor, ensuring our supporting empowers rather than diminishing the person receiving it.

We are committed to peaceful resolution and the rejection of force, believing that lasting change only comes through mediation and dialogue.

We operate with absolute honesty. As a registered Community Interest Company (CIC), we are accountable to our donors, our partners, and most importantly – the people we serve.

Our doors are open to all. We celebrate the diversity of the Sudanese community and ensure that vulnerable voices are heard and prioritized.

Why Trust Peace for Sudan

Our community-led approach is what sets us apart

We are of the community, for the community. Peace for Sudan is a formally registered organization led by individuals who share the culture, language, and history of the people we support. This deep understanding allows us to bridge the gap between humanitarian need and effective action.

We are approachable and active. We do not just provide services; we build relationships. Through face-to-face community meetings, home visits, and cultural events, we provide a safe, friendly space for refugees and migrants to share their concerns and receive advocacy that truly understands their context.
